         7:00 PM – HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMIC BANQUET – Sylvan Beach Pavilion

 

  • Only juniors & seniors who meet the criteria (semester grade of 90, A or B in conduct, maximum of 4 excused absences, no incident of academic dishonesty) may be exempt from school during exams.

  • There is no exemption from dual credit or AP course exams regardless of grade level.

  • Students who are exempt from some, but not all exams, may leave campus during any exam period or Tuesday review session for which they are exempt, but they may not take younger siblings.

  • Students who are exempt from the first exam of any day are not required to report to homeroom/study hall, but must arrive in time for their scheduled exam period.

  • Students who choose to remain on campus during a period for which they are exempt must remain under the supervision of an FBCA staff member in the assigned study hall location.

  • Exempt students without their own vehicle must provide the principal’s office with a signed parent’s note allowing them to leave campus with another student or parent prior to school dismissal.

  • Students who are exempt are encouraged, but not required to return for their end-of-year party.  They will not be required to be in school uniform, however, they must meet FBCA modesty requirements.
