Dr. Charles Redmond

Senior Pastor
First Baptist Pasadena

ESTABLISHED IN 1993

30 years ago, the vision of Pastor Charles Redmond and First Baptist Church Pasadena was born when the doors of First Baptist Christian Academy opened to 45 Pre-k through 2nd grade students and five teachers in August of 1993. Sharing church facilities on Pasadena Blvd., the academy continued to add grade levels and students. FBCA has been an accredited member of the Association of Christian School International since 1995. Our first graduating class received their diplomas in May of 2003. Many things have changed since those early days, but the school’s commitment to Christ and academic excellence has remained firm.

Currently, we are located at the intersections of Fairmont Parkway, Center Street, and Red Bluff Road. FBCA now hosts near 600 students. Baseball, softball, and football fields, a 15,000 square foot gymnasium, and a state-of-the-art science lab have been added to the beautiful facilities shared with the church.

In March 2017, students in grades 7-12 moved into a new 35,000 sq. ft. secondary building on the south end of the campus. Included in the facility are 16 classrooms, an art lab, band hall, choir room, media lab, and cafetorium. Over the next 4 years enrollment is expected to increase to over 700 students.

God is leading FBCA into the future in order to touch the hearts and lives of students and families in our community and beyond.
